Vote Now for Special Olympics Idaho in the Nike "Back Your Block" Grant

 
ATHLETE CHEERLEADER Special Olympics Idaho is participating in the Nike Back Your Block Grant program. Your vote will help us garner support from NIKE for our FIRST EVER Project Unify Youth Games, which will be held in March 2010. More than 250 students from 20 schools throughout Idaho will participate in the games.   Project Unify Youth Games is a one day event designed to introduce students with and without disabilities to the Special Olympics Program.  Just follow the link below to Vote for Special Olympics Idaho's Project Unify Youth Games.  ALL VOTES MUST BE IN BY SEPTEMBER 15, 2009.

RUEBEN MURRAY TUNE IN ALERT-"Let Me Be Brave" on Idaho Public Television's Outdoor Idaho is a MUST SEE
"Let Me Be Brave" is a half hour segment of the Outdoor Idaho Program that chronicles the emotional experience of Special Olympics Idaho's 24 athletes who participated in the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games.  Idaho Public Television journalists and crew followed Idaho's 24 athletes and coaches through their training camp experience in Denver to Opening Ceremony and competitions.  It debuts on Idaho Public Television on September 10, 2009 and airs throughout month.  It will also be viewed at the Coeur d'Alene Breakfast With Champions on September 24.  Below is a clip from the program.
