Welcome to Special Olympics Idaho
 
Greetings!

On March 6-8, Special Olympics Idaho will be hosting athletes from all over the state for the 2009 State Winter Games held in Cascade and McCall, Idaho.  Athletes will compete in Snowshoe and Cross Country at Ponderosa State Park on Saturday, March 7th from 9:30am-4pm.  Alpine and Snowboard athletes will compete at Brundage Mountain on Saturday, March 7th from 9:30am-4pm. 
 
Then it is back to Trinity Pines Lodge in Cascade for the Victory Dance, Closing Ceremonies and Olympic Town. Olympic Town is a carnival of activities that Special Olympics athletes can take part in during the Victory Dance. It includes games, crafts and prizes!  The Victory Dance and Olympic Town run from 5pm-9pm.
 
We are still looking for volunteers to help with the weekend festivities. Please pass this along to your friends and family as an additional opportunity to Be a Fan!
