Steelheads and SLIERS to help Special Olympics Idaho at two Steelheads games this Weekend
Come watch the Steelheads play the Phoenix RoadRunners this weekend and support Special Olympics Idaho.
On February 13th and February 14th, St. Luke's Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Services (SLIERS) is partnering with the Idaho Steelheads hockey team to support Special Olympics Idaho's Team USA delegation. Both nights, Steelheads players will be clad in a special edition jersey designed to celebrate SOID's 24 athletes participating in the World Winter Games. You can bid on your favorite player's jersey at a silent auction at the games. Jersey winners can also have photos taken with the player. There will also be a VERY special jersey autographed by the entire team that will be raffled. On Saturday, February 14, members of SOID's Team USA delegation will be recognized during one of the period breaks. Special Olympics Idaho's portion of the jersey auction will be used to support Team Idaho!
