Greetings!

Welcome!  I can scarcely believe it's already January of 2010!  Where does the time go?  I'm not sure where you are in your life, but as I greet this new year, I have a senior and a junior in high school, a fourth grader and a menagerie of pets.

January is always a time of resolutions, of evaluation, the "promises to self' that accompany both of these things.  I'm looking forward to the continuation of working with ongoing clients, new client projects and some new things I would love to share with you!

In most businesses, January is the perfect time to evaluate additions to your business and I'm no exception.  In my next newsletter, I'll get back to the helpful tidbits of decor advice and shopping locations, but today I'm focusing on - focus for 2010 - and I would love your help.  Read on...

Avaliving's Designer Room Reviews

Avaliving is an excellent online source to see what designers around the country are doing.  This week, I'm honored to be featured on the homepage for the project that I worked on this summer - the Street of Dreams.  My primary focus on this joint venture was the Master Bedroom Suite.  In addition to it's featured position in the Avaliving website, it also took People's Choice awards for the Street of Dreams  There are a few pictures from this project on the Avaliving site and more on my personal website.

Decorators Assistant
For the "Do it Herself"...

For six years, I've worked with Portland Community College to bring a home decor series to homeowners.  I'm often asked for follow up classes.

I've listened and now have two options up for consideration, but I need YOUR help!  I have two different options up for consideration and I would LOVE feedback from you as to whether either (or both!) are a good option to pursue.

I've set up an online survey that I would really love for you to take.  Having taken the PCC class is NOT required or necessary for these workshops.  Even if you haven't taken the PCC class but would like more information, I would love to hear from you!  By the way, positive feedback on the survey doesn't mean I feel you're committed - only that you are open to it and/or think it sounds fun or interesting.

Take the survey now!

If you haven't taken the class but are interested, you can view more information my website.

View PCC information here.  Next Class Begins on January 19th.

It's a blog world out there...

...and I'm posting fairly regularly...would love to hear from YOU what you'd like to read about.  If there is something you'd like to know more about in the coming year with regards to your home, please email me and let me know!

So far the blog has tips and advice, links to other sites you might find interesting or useful, interior inspirations I think you might like and projects I've been working on.  I've also got a series buried in there somewhere about my personal interior projects...just to make you feel comfortable that you're not alone in your endeavors.
