Greetings Star Gazer!

I really can't think of a better transition from 2009 into 2010
than the one the Starry Ones are delivering to us this New Year's Eve.
It's been such a year of transformation, release, disappointment, and awakening heralding a time when we are asked to step up to the plate 100% to make 2010 exactly what we envision it to be, and more.

New Year's Eve kicks off with a once-in-a-BLUE MOON Full Moon lunar eclipse
with major influences from many other planets.
Let's see what that's all about.

First of all a Blue Moon is what we call the 2nd full moon in a month. The first one was on December 2nd. In traditional moon-naming it's the second Cold Moon of the year. Brrrr for sure here in the Rockies! I could have major league hockey vying for the Stanley Cup in my yard.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the shadow of the Earth
eclipsing (or blocking) the Moon's reflection of the Sun. That's what a Full Moon is: the FULL reflection of the Sun's rays.
An eclipse, in all its mystery, offers a time of going within, a time of reflection, and purposeful navel-gazing. After contemplation it is time to release, let go, of what you no longer need. A closetful of crap you never use prevents you from receiving more. This holds true for all arenas of your life, not just the literal closets.

This Full Moon is supercharged because it is one of those SUPERMOONS.You remember those, right? We've had quite a few in 2009. This the last SuperMoon of 2009. The Moon is at perigee, closest in her orbit around the Earth and at syzygy, in line with the Sun and the Earth. That's a powerful line-up.

Tides will be higher and more intense. You probably want to steer clear of the Bay of Fundy that night. Bodily fluids as well are affected. easy on the champagne. More water, please.

This Full Moon is on the Capricorn-Cancer axis. Cancer asks you what makes you feel secure and Capricorn asks what are you willing to do create that security. What ACTION are you willing to do to create security?

The Capricorn energy is dominating right now because the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto, and the North Node (destiny) are all in the constellation Capricorn. That's QUITE a line-up of seriousness. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is all about consequences for actions taken. So, what actions will you CONSCIOUSLY take and what consequences are to be expected from those? The KEY word here is CONSCIOUS(obviously).

Capricorn can teach maturity and responsibility, which are good things. Remember before you could drive a car or play the lottery? When you are mature and responsible you can do these things. Well you can do them well or not well but still you are responsible for your actions. Capricorn reminds you that you have CHOICE, and opposable thumbs (which open up ALL kinds of opportunities).

As you enter the new year of 2010, what  CONSCIOUS CHOICES will you make and to what end?

Sun in Capricorn points us towards our commitments.
Moon in Cancer shows us what we NEED in order to fulfill those commitments, what nurturing, support, guidance, and sweets we need to best accomplish our goals.
Get clear on these because getting your needs met makes the goal-getting way smoother.

Just in case all that isn't enough for you, here's what the other planets are up to.
Remember the triple conjunction of Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune in Aquarius? Who could forget? Well the Sun and Venus are in semi-square (45 degree) aspect to that triple conjunction bringing about the opportunity to transform the heaviness and fanaticism of both Capricorn and Aquarius into their highest manifestation of innovation and action for the global common good.

Saturn creates a challenging square (that's a 90 degree angle) to the Sun, Venus, and Pluto as Uranus makes a wobbly quintile (72 degree angle) to the Sun. What we get from this is that when we are willing to be courageously creative, thinking outside our usual limited perception of what we think can and cannot be, we can turn chaos into creative action that transforms and uplifts every single one of us here on the home planet. TRULY, what we think is what we will create.

How courageously creative are you willing to be in 2010?

Personally I am so bored with how things are I am willing to take a quantum leap of courage to create my heart's desire. What about you? Are you with me? It's not only more FUN but more effective if we all do it together. Let's do it! Let's jump for the brass ring of our hearts' desires!
