Summer Dance Camp
June 29 - July 10
Ages 8-13
Classes are held Monday through Friday, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm at BSNY, culminating in a final student showing in The Dance Gallery.
Children will study ballet technique, tap, folk, choreography and modern dance. Lunch will be brought from home and eaten in the studio, or weather permitting, picnic style in nearby Madison Square Park.
Afternoons are spent on a variety of outings such as special trips to museums, Lincoln Center, and other places of interest.

Official School to hold
Children's Auditions for 2009-2010
The Children's Division of Ballet School NY, the official school of New York Theatre Ballet, known for its Once Upon A Ballet series at Florence Gould Hall, will hold auditions for the 2009-10 school year June 15-26, 2009. Founded in 1978, the school is the official school of New York Theatre Ballet and has since been recognized as one of the finest training programs of the Cecchetti syllabus in New York City. For qualified students, Ballet School NY's unique association with New York Theatre Ballet provides performing experience throughout the year in ballets that feature roles for children.  Under the direction of its founder, Diana Byer, all classes are taught to the highest standards by a faculty of top professionals. Ballet School NY provides teaching assistants in every class. Small class size guarantees highly individualized instruction. Graded classes are offered in pre-ballet, beginning at age 4, through advanced levels maintaining a core training program emphasizing the development of strong technical skill and discipline. 13th Annual School Recital ~ June 13, 2009
 NYTB presents a fully costumed Annual Student Recital each year as part of its LIFT Community Service program. All students of Ballet School NY participate in original choreography, variations and folk dances.
