PlanetariumExplore Central Washington participants learn about stars and constellations during a presentation inside a portable planetarium today at the Yakima Valley Museum. July 9 visit the Gingko Petrified Forest. 

 

ECWExplore Central Washington is a new summer field trip program designed to get kids and parents excited about our region's history, natural resources and diverse cultures. Through a series of 15 field trips that reach from Toppenish to Vantage, we'll discover the people and places that make our corner of the world unique.

July 8 - 10, 2011 

Plenty of music, crafts, food, and fun for the whole family at the daytime festival on Saturday and Sunday in the Museum and Franklin Park, and there will be music at many downtown businesses on Friday and Saturday nights.

New this year will be a special free kick-off concert at the Capitol Theatre's 4th Street Theatre!
