Coyote Ridge Bluegrass Wranglers Friday, December 4, 2009 - 7:30PM
Concert to benefit Northwest Harvest Get your tickets early!
Wells Fargo Insurance Services, the Yakima Valley Museum, and Yakima Folklife Association are pleased to present the second of two concerts for Northwest Harvest, Washington State's own hunger relief agency with a facility in Yakima. Because of the current economy, food banks have longer lines and emptier shelves; we hope to help Northwest Harvest fulfill their mission of fighting hunger in Washington and at the same time provide an evening of quality entertainment. We have already raised more than $3,000 and over 8 tons of food for Northwest Harvest! Come and be a part of something good in our community.
This final concert will feature Coyote Ridge Bluegrass Wranglers. This Yakima-based Bluegrass band will definitely give you a great night of music. "One could liken these boys to a good gumbo. . . start with a rich acoustic roux, add some spicy hot licks, let those powerful vocals simmer and mellow out the flavor, and my goodness, what a tasty full-bodied bluegrass concoction. No doubt, you're gonna want seconds!"
Admission to each concert is $10 plus two cans (or one large package) of food (or $15 without food). Tickets are available at the Yakima Valley Museum. Get your tickets early, seating is limited. This will be your last chance to bid on Duane Heilman's original painting "Irish Jig" donated by the artist to raise funds for NW Harvest.
Other concert sponsors include Yakima Symphony Orchestra, The Print Guys, Pasta Express, Starbucks Coffee, Duane Heilman, Mike Smith, Serval Studios and Perry Technical Institute.
