Living Well in the Yakima Valley

Living WellIn the past week the Yakama Traditional Subsistence exhibit was relocated and given a fresh new look.

Come in and see the new exhibit that talks about traditional life in the Plateau region that was based upon the land, the seasons, and the hunting and gathering of food-a lifestyle requiring a deep knowledge of natural resources and involving travel to different areas of the ancestral homelands to collect edible plants, hunt game, and fish for salmon.
