The Human Touch: Selections from the RBC Wealth Management Art Collection opens today

The Human Touch exhibition is a collection of works that focus on the human figure. This exhibition introduces new ways of thinking about who we are and how we live. Many well-known artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Viola Frey, Chuck Close, Jim Dine, and Roland Fischer are included.

To celebrate the opening of this exhibition, we will be open extended hours on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 5-7pm. Admission will be free during these two hours.

Spring is just around the corner, and one of the spring traditions at the H.M. Gilbert Homeplace is the Annual Plant Sale. As always, lots of quality perennials will be available for purchase. This year, the plant sale will be conducted on both Friday and Saturday. Bring your checkbooks and/or cash and stroll the beautiful grounds of the Gilbert House. Proceeds from this sale help ensure the maintenance of the grounds around the house each summer.
