Dealer's Open Lot insurance (DOL) (also known as inventory Insurance, Dealer's Blanket, Dealer's Floor Plan Insurance or Dealer's Physical Damage Insurance) provides coverage for both new and used, motorized and non-motorized units.. It protects the respective interest of the Dealers, and Lenders. It is comprehensive physical damage coverage that provides payment for damage to the dealer's inventory. Coverage is provided both on the lot and while driven. In addition to the inventory, service vehicles and customer loaners/rentals can be included as well as consigned vehicles.

Dealership must be engaged in the sale of new and/or used automobiles, RV's, trucks, truck tractors or long haul trailers.
Personal use of Demos and Company Autos must be appropriately controlled.
Coverage
is available in all States and provides for most losses including,
fire, theft, vandalism, flood, windstorm, hail, earthquake, collision
and spot delivery.
Coverage is written in solid, stable and
financially sound "A" rated insurance companies. Other dealership
coverage's available in most States.
