Hi! My name is Paige Paskett and I'm from a little town called Battlement Mesa, Colorado. My family and I moved here six years ago from Utah, where I was born and raised. I have a beautiful family with 5 amazing children. Landon and Eryn are my two college students. Lauren and Braeden are my High School Class officers. And Logan is my 8 yr old fireball on the end! They are great kids and I could brag about them all day! My husband Doug is just as amazing and pretty cute too, I might add. I'm also the school nurse for our school district. But, my passion is Jewel Kade!
 

I just hit my year mark with JK. I was first introduced to JK by my cousin's wife, Jenny Cottle. She was wearing her JK jewelry at a family get-together. I thought it was gorgeous and so different. I absolutely loved the charms! I told her how cute it was, and she tried to get me on an opportunity call, but I didn't jump on it right away... sure wish I would have now! She sent me a message a few months later and asked if I would have a catalog party for her. I said sure, and when the catalog came I fell in love with all of it. I was so intrigued by the fact that it was beautiful jewelry (which I love), a brand new opportunity, and no one around me had ever seen it. This was definitely a no brainer. I signed up instead of just having a party! I was more than a little nervous doing my first party since I'd never even been to one before, but really all it took was excitement... and I had plenty of that! I had no clue what I was doing, but I did have party cards, and it was a hit!
 

I have to say that my little business didn't really take off until after Convention. Now, let me tell you how important Convention is! My sponsor wasn't able to go with me, but I wasn't going to miss it. So, I went, and the only person I had even talked to before I got there was Roslyn (our amazing Club JK gal from the Home Office). I have to say thank you to the sweet gals who let me share a spot at their table. Thank you, thank you! It's a little unnerving to be alone in a room full of beautiful, talented women. I learned so much at Convention; how to set goals, the 3-step closing process, how to become "comfortable with the uncomfortable" and so much more! We were given so many tools to help build our business. I cannot stress enough how important it is to your business to be there and to take your team with you! I sure hope all my girls will be right there with me next summer!
In the months since I've been home I have seen some amazing things happen. First of all I started setting goals. They haven't been monumental, but bigger than what I had been doing. I would set a goal, pray about it, work hard, serve the Lord, and be grateful for every little gift that came my way. And for some reason I was still surprised when my goals came to life! Yes, I'm religious, so I have to give credit where real credit is due. It's happened for the last couple of months! So, if I can suggest anything that would be it: Set your goals, pray, work hard, serve others and don't forget to be grateful! There are amazing things waiting for you! And speaking of gratitude... I need to give a huge thank you to my team! If it weren't for you cute girls taking a chance on JK, I wouldn't be working on being a leader, now would I?!
