UTAH!!!!
WOW! Sometimes I feel like a broken record. Can I say that we beat last month's sales??...YES!! Almost $500k in sales for our growing team, and we have just scratched the surface...now that's something to talk about!
In all of my years around Direct Sales, I have never witnessed anything like this...ever! Jewel Kade is one of those amazing companies that came out of nowhere and became an overnight success. It is truly a dream come true for so many.
You might ask yourself, "why, what makes this company so special?" I'll tell you why. Because it is some of the most gorgeous jewelry made; jewelry designed by someone who possesses amazing talent and has a true passion for her work. This isn't jewelry manufactured in a factory, rather it is designed by Janet Kinkade, and is then handcrafted in a design studio nestled in the mountains in Utah. I'd like you to see this first hand, I guarantee you will be in awe.
Do you realize you are witnessing history in the making? Would you like to be a Stylist who can boast someday of being at the first Jewel Kade National Convention? I hope so. I know I wouldn't miss it for anything!
I cannot stress enough how important it is to attend Convention. Some might say it is an expense that you cannot afford. My answer to that is that it is an expense you cannot afford to miss out on.
My life 2 years ago was very different than it is today. I lived a life of desperation, debt and financial worries. 23 months later I am making an income I used to dream about. My life and the lives of my family members has changed in so many ways.
One of the major keys to my success is making sure that I attend every JK event that is offered, and by bringing as many of my team members with me (for my leaders it is mandatory!)
I would love for you to have success, but success is a choice, and attending Convention is the right choice. Choose success and I will see you in August!
Cheers- Sophia |

Jenneifer Jones

WOW, what a FUN Month I had..
I met New Faces and New Friends, "WHY" ~ Jewel Kade~ When I was in the Inspiring Leader Program, I had to make 3 contacts per day, and that is what I did and I got bookings and I followed up on those that
had interest and my calender grew and I have parties through the end of June and some for July & August already as well. Once others who have never seen Jewel Kade and get there NEW pieces and wear them and get compliments they start thinking about those other pieces they can get to go with the New chain or they think about that Other Necklace they liked too. It has been FUN this month SHARING JK with some NEW Face and to see how they are Charmed by JK is the best part.
Ladies YOU TOO Can do it, get out there and Share JK, show them our pieces and have FUN doing it, step out of that box and approach others and give them your info or a flyer or your business card. ASK for the Party, let them know they can get FREE & Discounted Products. Take note at your parties about different things like ~exp: Susie like the layering pearls and then when our Special came out, call her and let her know that or if you decide to do your own special on that item, again give her a call! This time of year is Great for out door or back porch parties, or how about Poolside Parties or Margarita Nite with the Girls on the back deck.. You can even do Ice Cream Parties where each person has to bring a special topping and just have ice cream and soda parties and again BE CHARMED with JEWEL KADE. Make it FUN and offer a Special Incentive if you want, just GET THOSE SHOWS Booked and Make them FUN and dont be afraid to SHARE, Jewel Kade.

Jewel Kade has made a difference in so many of our lives... including mine. I started in February 2010 with this amazing company! My journey has been awesome. I have been able to share it with family, my mom, Jeanne Losee, mother-in-law, Vickie Turner, sister-in-law, Tracy Crosby, and my aunt, Judy Watson have all become stylists as well! Its so wonderful to share this with my family and friends, old and new! Julie Shangle introduced me to Jewel Kade while having a trunk show at our salon last year. I glanced through the catalog she left earlier in the week, and then put it down half way through, I just didn't get it. I was not prepared for my reaction when I saw Jewel Kade the first time. Total LOVE at first sight! I am fairly certain that I lost over 3 days worth of sleep thinking about the amazing opportunity sitting at my feet. Julie offered me a GIFT, become a stylist. I do hair full time, I have a husband, 22 month old son, and a 7 year old son. I had a full plate, but I couldn't pass this up. I became a stylist with the intention of making a little extra money and getting to wear this awesome jewelry. One year later, 95 team mates strong, and making more than a little extra money, I'm amazed and grateful daily. I know I'm apart of something special. I have a wonderful group of women working this journey with me. Bringing new people into this business has been both fun and rewarding, and I know that fun will continue!! I'm thrilled to be top sponsor for April! But you should all know its easier than it seems! - There is no magic secret, I just don't quit. I always remember that for every no, there is yes! Let me explain where I met the two stylists who joined my business in April: Carrie Hoeppner, Ft. Myers, FL: I met Carrie over a year ago through my fanpage on Facebook, Charmed In Florida. She has been an AWESOME customer, and I could see an enormous amount of potential in her. I offered her the JK gift several times, promotion after promotion, the timing still wasn't right for her. I kept in contact with Carrie for the last year and then out of the blue a few weeks ago she emailed me and said she was ready to sign up! It was that easy. She is amazing and I believe will do great things with this business. Kimberly Marroquin, LaBelle, FL: Kimberly attended her 1st JK Party on a last minute whim. She placed an order that night, and also booked a party. With in less than an hour after the party, she called me and told me she wanted to become a stylist! Kimberly owns a successful tanning salon and a custom graphics shop. She has a HUGE opportunity and is going to do amazing things with Jewel Kade! A few weeks ago I spent the afternoon with another stylist on my team "cold-calling" on salons. She was getting discouraged because she hasn't had one of those WOW parties, or signed up anyone that was as passionate as she was about JK. The more no's she received, the less she was doing with her business. This is a common issue with so many stylists, but it is such an easy fix! Recruiting and booking parties is a numbers game, the more people you expose your business to, or the more parties you have, or the more you wear your JK to the grocery store and get the nerve to turn around and hand a business card to the lady behind you in line, or force yourself out of your comfort zone and walk into a salon and ask to have a trunk show, the more SUCCESS you are going to have! You just can't give up, and you can't let no's get you down! Before you know it, you will come across someone who has the same fire as you do. Give to people. Give, even when you don't see the results, or necessarily have the time. Just be consistent in working your business. Offer it to everyone, and doors will open. - Chanea

May Spotlight - Julie Shangle
Most of you already know my story...but in a nutshell, I was sponsored in late June, 2009, by Sophia. We began blazing the trail for Jewel Kade, and have had a fabulous time! While I am being spotlighted for attaining Ruby Leader, I would like you to know who the superstars are who made that possible. Suzan Vitale, Kim Vogel, Kim Thorell, Chanea Turner, Amy Struble, Sarah Cherney and Jill Waliczek. They are an amazing group of women who have built great teams. If it weren't for all the support I receive from my husband, Kirk, and Sophia's encouragement to work one-on-one with my potential leaders, helping them promote to CL, I would not be a RL today.
My inspiration comes from Ginny, Sophia, and all of the amazing women within my organization. I love to hear of their succeses and help them sort through their challenges. I have had many challenges myself, both health and personal. I truly do not know what I would have done this last year without Jewel Kade in my life. I am proud to represent Janet's creations. I received my first "gift" of JK for Mother's Day from my son and his girlfriend, Brandy, who recently joined our team. It was a photo charm of my son kissing my cheek, and I wept with joy. It was at that exact moment that I finally "felt" what others feel who receive our one-of-a-kind pieces. At that moment, I knew - really knew - how truly special this is. We are part of something larger than life. I feel so blessed. If you believe, you will achieve.
Never give up your dream, and don't let anyone get in the way of your destiny.
- Julie

May Spotlight - Sarah Garlinghouse

My JK journey started when stylist Dawn Bourelle sat at Jen Patteen's table at Pi's: Midland, Michigan's Chinese restaurant. Jen is Chris, my boyfriend's, sister, and a large group of us took turns hosting Jewel Kade parties at our houses, since we had all fell in love with the vintage style of the handmade pieces. After my second very successful party, and still craving to own the contents of the entire catalog, I asked Dawn how much money she had made that night. I was blown away when she told me $300. I thought, "What?! I can do that! Eat snacks, drink wine, show off beautiful jewelry, and fill out orders for a couple hours? This is too good to be true!" Realizing how passionate I was about Jewel Kade, and watching family, friends, and complete strangers "ooh" and "ahh" over it, I knew this company was going to be something BIG! It wasn't long before Jen signed up, and then encouraged me to do the same.
I don't think I've ever made a better financial decision than when I decided to join the JK team. I had my launch party on April 15th, and had reached my $3,000 mark by April 30th! I'm also sponsering two stylists under me, and I have one more ready to sign up. It is so incredibly easy to sell this product just by wearing it every day. Each time I head out to run errands or go to any event, I am excited for the opportunity of a sale or a party booking, and I am confident that I will recieve compliments on my amazing jewelry. Being an elementary teacher, I've always wanted to do something in the summer to earn some extra income. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was in third grade, but the thought of being a business woman never crossed my mind. I tried tutoring, but realized that I need a complete break from the overwhelming task of teaching all together. Playing on three different sports teams, enjoying family vacations, taking summer classes, and spending time at Houghton Lake, didn't exactly lend itself to many work schedules. Jewel Kade is perfect for me, allowing me to choose the days I can work. Did I say work? I meant enjoy fun nights with the ladies and earn some money at the same time! I am thrilled to be a part of a such an inspiring company, and it has also been fun for Jen and I to encourage each other as we experience this new adventure together. The sky is the limit for me, and I can't wait to see what JK will bring me in the years ahead.
THANK YOU JK! I am charmed for life!
