 The House of Representatives passed legislation on Thursday that would stop the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating emissions of gases blamed for warming the planet, a day after the Senate rejected similar legislation.

LA Legislature Set to Redraw Districts
 
The Louisiana Legislature will redraw districts for the Louisiana House of Representatives, the Louisiana Senate, the Louisiana Congressional Districts, the Public Service Commission, the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, and certain courts based upon the population changes, law and public comment. 
15th Annual Chancellor's Cup Golf Open 
 
Join friends and colleagues at TPC Louisiana for the 15th Annual Chancellor's Cup Golf Open. Located across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, TPC Louisiana is home to the state's only PGA Tour event, the Zurish Classic. TPC is a perfect complement to the local ambiance-winding between this rolling hills, lush wetlands, and local cypress and oak trees. Proceeds from the tournament support the College of Fellows Latrobe Prise for architectural research.
