For your convenience a "Walk Through" to assist you in the online submission process has been created. To learn more about the Fellowship submission process, visit the 2012 Fellowship Submission Site. Information about who can write a reference for FAIA candidates has been updated to include the International Associate AIA member category. Contact HonorsAwards@aia.org with any questions.

New Guide for Sustainable Projects
Document D503-2011, Guide for Sustainable Projects, including Agreement and Supplementary Conditions, was released last month. The Guide is free and was developed to assist users of AIA Contract Documents in understanding contractual considerations unique to sustainable design and construction projects. It addresses current issues and concepts such as: codes and legislation, risks and responsibilities, and recommendations for model language to assist the architect.

Teeny Simmons, Executive Director of Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners, would like to remind the licensed firms that 2011-2012 renewal forms for Architectural Corporations, Architectural-Engineering Corporations and Limited Liability Companies are due by June 30, 2011.
