Although every time of year is the time for sharing and being of service, we tend to find more awareness around volunteering and offering our gifts to others. But, have we overlooked the simple gift of presence? Being with others and actually being fully present in the moments we share is far more giving and powerful, and yet greatly underrated.

In the hustle and bustle of checking off gift items, preparing for holiday parties and events, we might simply miss out by just going through the motion of the acts we know of to be kind, but without our Presence, there is lack of heart. If you volunteer, whether you have the time for several days a week or just an hour or so helping in a soup kitchen, perhaps simply baking something special for a neighbor, are you really there? If you offer your gifts by visiting nursing homes, sit with those who may be a little more lonely this time of year, but offer your gifts in the form of presence by being present, and feel the Joy! Finding the time to be with ourSelves first and honoring our needs versus wants can be an amazingly beneficial gift. It not only allows us to re-connect on many levels, but provides us with the energy to be there for others, if we need to be.

Creacon Lodge Prema Agni Retreat Centre is part of a larger cooperation of beings who have come together under the "label" of SQ Worldwide in an effort to show how unity and service can truly bring upliftment. Christmas Caroling December 18th!
Join in the holiday cheer as we join our hearts and voices in a magical time of year where faith and hope shimmer brightly. Everyone had such a brilliant experience last year so we are hosting again.
We will be serving a delicious Christmas meal with all the holiday fixings, caroling in the sacred Meditation Hall, and then enjoying some treats of the holiday season, including egg nog, mulled wine, apple cider, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, cookies and sweets. Discourses with Derek O'Neill
December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd!
Master healer, Spiritual Teacher, and Creacon's founder, Derek O'Neill will be in residence the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of every month, unless otherwise noted. Heart filled chats, spontaneous discourses, and Loving opportunities abound! The cost of discourses is included for overnight guests and 50 euros for day visitors.This is an amazing gift to any who wish to visit this most sacred, nurturing healing centre. Recipe from our Chef!  

 

Those who have visited have experienced the amazing and delectable creations by Creacon's superior Chef, Gaetano Pernagallo. Such great care and attention is provided with each meal. We know you'll enjoy this tasty delight! Some features from this year's garden are raspberries, strawberries, peas, rhubarb. lettuce, kale, cabbage, and courgettes!

Try this simply warm & delectable dish!

Zucchini Soup with Blue Cheese & Bacon (optional)

Ingredients; 

Courgette from our garden!

1 Tbs Olive Oil

1 Onion chopped

2 large Zucchini (Courgette) sliced

3 Potatoes peeled and chopped

4 Cups of chicken or vegetable stock

3 oz Cashel Blue Cheese

2/3 cup half & half

2-3 sprigs fresh parsley chopped

6 slices traditional bacon chopped

Freshly ground black pepper

Method;

In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil. Add the bacon (optional) and cook until browned. about 5 minutes. (reserve a few pieces for garnish). Add the onion, zucchini, and potatoes, cover and cook until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes. Add the stock and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Transfer to a food processor or blender and process in batches until smooth. Return to the saucepan, stir in the cheese and cream and heat gently. Add the reserved bacon (optional), top with pepper and garnish with parsley. Buon Appetito!!
