2010 Annual Conference, March 17-20, Baltimore, Maryland
Greetings!

Last week the Embryo Adoption Awareness Center was invited to present an educational break-out session during the annual JCICS conference called Embryo Adoption: Pre-born Children Waiting for Families.

The Joint Council on International Children's Services was formed 33 years ago and is active in advocating for the rights of children world-wide.  Its membership is made up of child's rights advocates, including over 250 licensed adoption agency offices in the United States.

Because of the interest in embryo adoption generated from the webinars sponsored by the Embryo Adoption Awareness Center over the past year, the EAAC was invited to present a continuing education seminar at JCICS' Annual Conference.  Thirty four agencies attended the Embryo Donation & Adoption session.  Interest among the attendees ran high with many questions generated about the process of embryo adoption and starting embryo adoption programs.

The presenters were Ms. Kris Probasco, LCSW, LSCSW, Adoption and Fertility Resources and Mr. Ronald Stoddart, founder of the first embryo adoption program, SnowflakesŪ.

Although focused on international children's issues, JCICS recognizes the needs of its member organizations to provide the most relevant and current information on all adoption alternatives.

Our next webinar entitled Embryo Adoption: Educating Your Clients will be held on Wednesday, April 28 at 12:00 noon Eastern Time. Click the title to register today.
