Available Now! SFEAP presentation to US Green Building Council SoFla chapter on ecoart and LEED
In June, SFEAP was invited to present to a local South Florida chapter of the US Green Building Council on how ecoart could help encourage more rapid adoption of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) principles in both new and adaptively reused buildings and infrastructure projects. The SFEAP presentation also highlights ecoartists' innovations in photovoltaic array, design of an energy plant that makes it a community center, and tracking (and mitigating) building power and water use with imaginative interactive animations. Please go to the SFEAP website Links page where you can read or download a pdf of SFEAP's presentation. There is a wealth of information on the SFEAP Links page on critical issues facing ecoartists. We will have more on ecoart and LEED in future newsletter issues.
