United Way Trustees Honored by Cedar Rapids Rotary Club
 The downtown Cedar Rapids Rotary Club presented Rex and Kathy Eno, two United Way trustees, with the Community Service Award at its June 25, 2012, meeting.
The award goes to somebody who has "contributed numerous hours of public service and who has served on a volunteer board." The recipients must be recognized as outstanding leaders by their peers and must portray a Rotary model in life while Serving above Self. The award includes a $1,000 contribution to the recipients' charity of choice. Congratulations, Rex and Kathy!

EVENT: Connecting People with Disabilities to Volunteer Opportunities

The Arc of East Central Iowa, a United Way partner, is organizing an inclusive volunteer fair to give people with disabilities a chance to be more active and involved in their communities.
The fair is on July 25, 2012.
