We are pleased to let you know that our new volunteer app for iPhone, iPad and iPod is now available for download.
The app, which is believed to be the first of its kind in the United States, is free to download and allows users to map volunteer opportunities in Cedar Rapids. Go here for a short video and download link. If you don't have one of those devices check out our web-based map here.
Until next month,
Your United Way Team

RSVP Volunteers Help Neighbors with Rides
|
"I've had great drivers through the years," says Joyce Gassman, who uses the RSVP service to get to medial appointments. "It means a great deal to me. I've been in the program since before 2008. It seems like I have a few more medical problems and there are occasions that I really, really need a driver."
Jessica Link, RSVP coordinator, adds that the program fills a need in rural communities.
