LIVE UNITED By Supporting Children

Ashly & MateoAmericans have spoken and the consensus is out: improving education is a community responsibility. Today, fewer Americans are likely to earn a diploma than their parents, a distinction not shared by any other industrialized country.

United Way of East Central Iowa has worked with community partners and identified 500 local volunteer opportunities in areas related to supporting children and youth in east central Iowa.

Sometimes kids just need someone who believes in them. Volunteer reading, tutoring, or mentoring one hour each week can change the life of a child. Join United Way to show the power of Living United.
