Corridor Volunteers to Host Brown Bag Lunch
Is your organization looking for another way to recruit volunteers and publicize the work you are doing? Consider creating a listing on CorridorVolunteers.org! Or perhaps your agency is already utilizing CorridorVolunteers, but you would like a refresher on the site to make it simpler to use. United Way completed a survey of agencies that utilize CorridorVolunteers.org in September, and about half (44%) of the responses indicated the site is easy to use. Our goal is to make that 100%.
Working toward that goal, United Way will be hosting a Brown Bag Lunch to continue discussions and training on CorridorVolunteers.org. If you are a nonprofit agency interested in training on CorridorVolunteers.org, or an agency interested in learning how to register on that site, bring your lunch and join us on November 19 from 11:30-12:30 at United Way, 1030 5th Avenue SE, suite 100, Cedar Rapids. For more information contact Sue Driscoll, 319-398-5372 x22, or sdriscoll@uweci.org. |
