Having A Baby Is A Big Enough Deal!
Babyinterims logo

Whether it's your first baby, last baby, only baby or even your friend's baby, it is a monumentous deal!

Ever since you discovered a baby was coming, you made a list, dreamt big dreams, and hoped for many little miracles to help you pull through. All of a sudden, there's hardly any time left , the baby is almost due and there's a million and one things to do before ...tomorrow???

Ok, if you are working, there's your maternity/ paternity leave, so a bit of time to get your thoughts together-(maybe). If you are not, oh its even harder to explain what happened with all that time you thought you had!

There's the cots, the prams, the chairs, the food, pampers, cutlery, bibs, the bathroom essentials, monitors, blankets, changing mats, play mats, toys, the hospital, the daddy, the mummy, grandma, grandpa, the dog, the cat, oh the other siblings too, how could I forget -there's me too.... oh and those many issues to resolve with my career and work, my stress levels, my eating habits,oh dear, there's at least a thousand issues I want to write down now- but I won't!

How does everyone else cope???
Well, Babyinterims realises how EXTREMELY difficult this is for parents and kids when a new baby arrives,so we have developed affiliate relationships with some of the best providers of baby/family products and services. We are aware that new and expectant mothers (as well as their partners) have an immense amount of pressure and responsibilities to deal with during and after pregnancy, so we have provided a comprehensive list of providers that offer almost everything you will need from before the baby comes to when the baby grows- including advice, clothes, prams, toys, holidays and stuff for parents too!

Some of our providers offer fantastic deals through our affiliate programme, so check our affiliate page for some super offers. Our affiliates include 'Toys r us', 'Walt Disney travel Company', 'Bounty', 'Kiddies Kingdom', 'Baby Monitors', 'Born Gifted', 'Crave Maternity', 'Stardust Kids', 'Babycurls', 'Bambino', '1st For Toys', 'Jojo Maman Bebe','Just Childs Play', 'Kids Stuff and Things'

Greetings!

Many new corporate laws will come into force on the 1st of October, and it is a bit rare to find many changes in legislation being implemented on one single day. The deadline for the use of a coprporate Director, the Equality Act 2010, and changes to tax reporting are issues to start addressing now, if companies have not already done so.

Welcome to our September Newsletter!

Approaching Deadline For Sole Corporate Directors

From the 1st of October 2010, any company with a corporate director as its only director would be subject to fines from Companies House. Companies Act 2006 requires companies to have at least one individual/natural person acting as a director. Therefore for those using corporate bodies in this capacity, they would need to appoint a person to be held accountable for the actions of the company before this date.

Organisations would also have to check that any subsidiaries comply with this legislation or they may be subject to fines.

For information about this legislation, you may visit www.hmrc.gov.uk . To request for Interim Managers who run their own companies, please visit the Interim Management Talent Bank at imtb.uk.com
The Equality Act 2010

From the 1st Of October, a new framework to protect employees and individuals from discrimination and unfair treatment will come into force. The new legislation will include changes to contracts, policies, practices and behaviour that involve gender reassignment, pay secrecy clauses, pre-employment health enquiries and third party harassment protection, amongst others.

For more information about the Equality Act  2010 and how it can affect you, visit the hmrc site or  http://www.equalities.gov.uk

XBRL & How Your Company May Be Liable To Fines
From 31 March 2011, company tax returns must be filed online and all supplementary documents must be filed using XBRL.

As the use of XBRL is mandatory, companies are starting to make plans to ensure that all preparatory issues that will affect the use of this program are addressed well before the deadline.

For more information about using this format ,as well as processes and controls that may need to be introduced , visit the HMRC site or speak to an accountant. The filing process can be a time-consuming and complex process, so try not to wait till the last minute as HMRC will reject filing based on any other format but XBRL. You can also vist www.efm.uk.com to find out if our financial reporting service will beefit your business.
