It's time for the final weigh-in for this year's Lose to Win Weight Loss Challenge, sponsored by MVP Health Care and Brinckerhoff and Neuville Insurance Group, Inc. Participants can pick up their forms at the Chamber office between 9 am and 5 pm and complete their weigh-in at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Center for Rehabilitation, 279 Main St., New Paltz.

August After-Hours Mixer @ A Tavola Trattoria, New Paltz

The average annual mean temperature in New York State ranges from about 40° F in the Adirondacks to near 55 in the New York City area. In January, the average Hudson Valley mean temperature is about 26° F. The highest temperature of record in New York State is 108° F at Troy on July 22, 1926; temperatures of 107 have been observed in Poughkeepsie. In the Hudson Valley, the coldest temperature ranges between 0 and -10° F. The Hudson Valley records an average of 18 - 25 days with temperatures of 90° F or higher.
