High Impact Teens
0001UPDATE: Welcome One More Teen Into God's Family

Earlier today I wrote to you about a teen boy I would be visiting who requested to see me at the juvenile detention center in Indianapolis. When I first met him several weeks ago he told me how he had never believed in God or the Bible.

Well, that's no longer the story because this afternoon he accepted Jesus Christ and is a new member of the family of God. This young man has an incredible story already. He was a football player at one of the highest ranked high school teams in the state of Indiana. God has taken him through many trials in his young life but no longer will he travel through life alone. He now has God's presence, God's strength and God's power to carry him through. I sensed today the prayers of others as I talked with him man to man about his soul, his life and his destiny.

Thank you for your prayers.

In Christ,

Ken Turner

I Need A Bridge - Builder

In a recent meeting with David Hillman of the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, he said many times small ministries like mine run in to funding challenges due to donors having their own financial challenges. He said at these times they describe the need as "Bridge Money." He said I need Bridge Money to get through this and bridge the gap between the loss of funding sources to the pay the bills until the new funding sources kick in. So, I don't want to be presumptuous but I hope that you might prayerfully consider going in to the "bridge-building" business with me if your financial situation allows it and you feel God would want you to be involved in this way at this time.
