High Impact Teens
0001I Didn't Believe In God or the Bible. Now I Do.

I am returning to the detention center today to meet with a teenage boy who came to me and asked me to come back to  meet with him one on one. He said, "Before I came here I didn't believe in God or the Bible. I have been reading the Bible and am amazed to see how much truth is there. I believe that there is a God and He placed me here to learn about him" I'll be meeting with him one on one in the next couple hours to share the gospel with him at his request.

There were 6 more teen guys that accepted Christ just over a week ago. There are miraculous things happening and I am praying that this ministry will thrive as God provides. One of "my guys" was released yesterday and he is begging me to meet weekly to have a Bible study with him, his mom and 12 year old brother. So just keep prayerfully lifting me up, if you will.

Daniel Ferguson85% Support Temporarily Lost

As many of you know, my ministry has continued over the past 5 months with a loss of 85% of my regular support. A large part of my support comes from businessmen who have experienced a shortfall due to the current economy. Pray for our supporters that their situation will be resolved and our full support will resume soon.

In Christ,

Ken Turner

I Need A Bridge - Builder

In a recent meeting with David Hillman of the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, he said many times small ministries like mine run in to funding challenges due to donors having their own financial challenges. He said at these times they describe the need as "Bridge Money." He said I need Bridge Money to get through this and bridge the gap between the loss of funding sources to the pay the bills until the new funding sources kick in. So, I don't want to be presumptuous but I hope that you might prayerfully consider going in to the "bridge-building" business with me if your financial situation allows it and you feel God would want you to be involved in this way at this time.
