Well, summer is almost over and I have to say that I've had the best summer ever. With my kids at the perfect ages for family activities, a new pool in my backyard, and all kinds of sunny skies, my basement studio took a back seat for the month of July. That's OK, I probably needed a break from painting. Life is short, you have to enjoy it to the fullest! I've had an extremely busy year, so it was time to recharge for the last stretch.
As you might remember from my last newsletter, I went on a big trip called The Inspiration Tour to Ontario back in June. Along with my friend, musician Remi Boudreau, we traveled from Moncton all the way to London. We drove over 5,000 kms in nine days. We made some great connections, and I sold a good number of paintings. More than I had expected to sell! We did 8 shows in 9 days, so we didn't stop much except for nachos and beer. We had a great time! I was fortunate enough to have a drink with Debbie Travis, and I met a billionaire, which doesn't happen every day. I wonder if Debbie's a billionaire... that would make two billionaires on the same trip. We are already talking about a tour around the Maritimes in October, and another tour through Ontario next spring.
With the fall season just around the corner, this week I'm launching my popular show, Matt LeBlanc FUSION. With last year's success, I had to raise the bar even higher. The format of this year's show will be similar, but I've added some surprising elements that are truly out of this world and something the audience will not forget. Once again, this won't be your typical wine and cheese art show! If you don't live in the Moncton area, I'll be posting a ton of images and videos after the show ...
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
Sincerely,
Matt

Matt LeBlanc FUSION - Sept 29, 2012 When it comes to promoting his art, Dieppe, New Brunswick's Matt LeBlanc stretches the boundaries of even his abstract world. His wildly popular show, Matt LeBlanc FUSION, is back in 2012, and while it will continue to be an evening of art and entertainment featuring performances by local artists, he has added some surprising elements to the show that are truly out of this world and something the audience will not forget. Once again, this won't be your typical wine and cheese art show!
"Fans of my art have been wonderful and incredibly good at spreading the word of the Matt LeBlanc Art brand, I wanted to connect with them and show my appreciation with this show," he says. The ticket-only FUSION 2012 show will be a feast for the senses, imbued with art and colour in live music, dance performances, films, catered food, and of course LeBlanc's artwork.
Now a full-time artist, LeBlanc says "One thing I'm passionate about for my art is that I will always push myself to take my creativity to the next level and the next after that. It's obvious that I love to paint, but what I love even more is to create projects and pieces that have never been done before, and I think that separates me from other artists."
