BridgeWorks
Holy Land Pilgrimage
Rebekah Simon-Peter Greetings!

Have you ever been to the Holy Land?

I took my first trip there with my Confirmation Class when I was 16 years old.  Eight years later, I went back with my Grandmother after graduating from college.  Both trips changed my life.  (On the first trip I fell in love, and on the second trip I had an encounter with God!)  After all that excitement, I thought I would go back every eight years.  Unfortunately, I didn't.

But now the
time is right again!  And you're invited to come along.

After teaching over 1000 people about the Jewish roots of Christianity from the written word, BridgeWorks is branching out.  Next stop--Israel!

Galilee sunriseThis won't be your usual tour.  We'll be looking for the Spirit behind the headlines. Our focus will be on the Jewish roots of Jesus.  We'll walk where Jesus walked.  We'll sing and pray in holy spots
And we'll be on the lookout for Biblical places--both Jewish and Christian--to come alive!

In addition, we'll meet with "Abrahamic" peacemakers.  We'll visit places where Jews, Christians, and Muslims are intentionally carving out lives together. Lunching with Palestinian Christians and meeting with mystics in the Old City of Jerusalem are just a few of the interesting things we have planned.  dome and archways in Israel

Won't you join us for this amazing trip?

Rest assured, your safety will be a top concern.
That's why we're traveling with Educational Opportunities.  For 35 years, they have safely shepherded travelers to and fro.  They use state of the art communication to make sure we're always where we should be.  And not where we shouldn't be.

CaesareaCo-hosting the trip will be The Reverends Linda Wells of Douglas WY, Steve Burnett of Casper WY, and Steve Easterday-McPadden of Longs Peak UMC in Longmont CO.  If we're lucky, all our spouses will join us as well.

Check out the online brochure.  Then reserve your space now.  A $300 deposit secures your place.  Discounts are available for early registration.  Additional side-trips are also available.  A special assurance program promises your money back if you can't travel.  Even at the last minute.  So what have you got to lose?

I can't wait to go back!  My heart sings when I am there.  Having you there would make it all the more special.

Next year in Jerusalem!

Shalom,

Rebekah
