Greetings!
On behalf of the Search Committee, I am writing to announce that we have invited back two finalists for the Head of School position.
They are:

David Genger, Division Head, Lake Forest Country Day School, Lake Forest, IL.

Nick and David visited the campus recently and will be returning for longer and more comprehensive visits. Nick will be on campus March 3 and 4 with his wife, Liz. David will be on campus March 22 and 23 with his wife, Vanessa.
Among other things, the purpose of these visits is to give the candidates an opportunity to learn about Rio Grande School in greater depth. Every faculty member and every parent will have an opportunity to interact with them. The finalists will, of course, also visit again with staff, administrators and trustees and they will have an opportunity to see a little more of Santa Fe and the Land of Enchantment.
Parents should please mark their calendars for Thursday, March 4 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (Nick Edgerton) and Tuesday, March 23 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (David Genger) when the finalists will be participating in question and answer sessions with parents in the MAC. (Please keep in mind that we are courting these candidates as well as interviewing them.) Many thanks to Leah Swanson, PA Chairwoman, who will moderate both sessions.
Special thanks as well to Will Halm, Vice-President of the Board of Trustees, and Associate Head of School Maureen Devlin for coordinating the schedules of both the candidates and spouses.
