The IICD-supported Ugandan organisation Health Child battles child mortality by sending mothers text messages with information about prenatal care, care after birth and reminders about their antenatal schedules at health facilities.

Two students from the IICD-supported Fatima Girls Secondary school in Zambia now recommend ICT for education for all Zambian schools. "E-learning should be a right for students."
