Greetings!
Hillary Halstead, of Halstead Bead, blogged about the conference, "I am revitalized, re-energized and refocused! Last week's annual Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) conference is better than a trip to the spa." Read more... If you were at the Phoenix/Scottsdale conference and had a good time, the best thing you can do for SNAG is to let your peers, friends, colleagues and others know. Be sure to fill out our post-conference survey as well, your feedback is a gift that enables us to improve every year. And don't wait too long to sign up for our new member benefit, our Maker Profile pages. New! SNAG Maker Profiles
Build your own page with our user-friendly template. Fill it with images and information about you, what you make, the materials you use, connections to your shops, your craft shows, exhibitions, and more. Extend your networks, and link to your website, your Etsy shop, your social media. Update your Maker Profile whenever you like.
The Maker Profiles are searchable by name, materials, process, and content. Use tags for an advanced search.
That's not all -- the images of work you see rotating throughout the site are now randomly pulled from those in the Maker Profiles. If you have a Maker Profile page, your work will appear throughout our site. You can change your images at any time.
Our Maker Profiles will become a destination for anyone looking for new and interesting work. Once we have a good body of work on the site, we will begin promoting it outside the field to curators, galleries, retail stores, fashion and lifestyle magazine editors, stylists, interior designers, photographers, and others.
You'll love this new feature, our Maker Profile pages. Add this to your membership now. This new benefit will normally cost $30 a year, but from now through October it's only $25. Prorated to coincide with your next membership renewal.
