Nominations and Elections Committee is Seeking Qualified Presidential Candidates for the 2012 Election | |
Already tired of the race for the White House?
Bemoaning your local officials' television ads?
Sick of all the political phone calls?
If you've ever found yourself wishing for a friendly, scandal-free election, perhaps the SNAG community is the place for you!
SNAG is an organization dedicated to furthering the field of jewelry and metalsmithing by supporting the professional practice of artists, designers, jewelers, and metalsmiths. The Nominations and Elections Committee is seeking qualified Presidential candidates for the 2012 election.
The President is an ambassador representing SNAG both outside the organization as well as within the field, promoting SNAG wherever and whenever possible. In addition, he or she is always available to listen to SNAG members' comments, issues, and concerns. Potential candidates should possess diplomacy, an urge to make a meaningful contribution to the organization, and, preferably, a commitment to their own practice. If this describes you or someone you know, please speak up!
Nominations can be made directly to an NEC member or through the NEC webpage.
NEC Chair, Mary Hallam Pearse, Courtney Starrett, Kristi Kloss. To speak with someone that has direct knowledge of SNAG initiatives please contact NEC Chair, Mary Hallam Pearse, 706-201-6140.
