Last Chance-- At the Frontier's Edge: The Arts & Crafts Movement in Denver & Environs | | The work of jeweler Todd Reed exemplifies ongoing manifestations of the Arts & Crafts movement, as does the focus on metalwork in the conference "At the Frontier's Edge" produced by Initiatives in Art and Culture with SNAG/Metalsmith as a co-sponsor. Reed is both a speaker and host of a very special evening event at his new showroom in downtown Boulder, CO.
For the downloadable conference brochure PDF, visit: www.artinitiatives.com. Register for full conference, through acteva.com/go/Denver. Student and one- and two-day passes also available.

SNAG's Professional Development Seminar is the Energizer Bunny | | The five segments of the 2011 Seattle Professional Development Seminar are all available on SNAG's website and, to date, they have been viewed nearly 12,000 times. Check out Niche Marketing, Digital Image Extensions, Photography in Flux (Photographers' and Editors' Perspectives), and How to Build a Better Drop Shadow. They are all available here.
The SlideShare presentation from the 2010 Houston Professional Development Seminar, "Not Just Another Pricing Lecture," also keeps on ticking. It's been viewed nearly 8,000 times since March 2010. Kudos again to Harriete Estel Berman for making sure the Seminar has a life far beyond the conference.
