Member Survey for SNAG's Strategic Planning Retreat and Drawing for Prizes |
|
Everyone should have received a link to take a short member survey as part of our upcoming planning retreat. If you didn't, check your spam box or contact elaing@snagmetalsmith.org for the link. Please find 10 minutes to complete this survey. The deadline is Monday August 8 at midnight Pacific Time.
At the same time we fully understand you all work for a living, so as part of our thanks to members who complete the survey, Allcraft, Lark Books, and Myron Toback have generously agreed to provide nearly $800 worth of gift certificates to be awarded in a drawing.
We need your ideas, guidance and perspectives to be good stewards of SNAG's future. The board will use your input to directly shape SNAG's next phase.

Professional Development Seminar Fourth Segment online | |
Are you creating a well crafted, compelling image that represents your work? Or just taking a photo? Hear what editors Suzanne Ramljak of Metalsmith magazine and Marthe Le Van of Lark Books have to say about choice of back ground, visual styling, current -- and future -- trends in art documentation and image making. Their seasoned opinions and editorial perspectives offer a valuable glimpse into the other side of the photographic equation: What are magazine and book editors looking for?
Your images work tirelessly, non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Are they doing the best job that they possibly can for you? Find out now with this online SlideShare presentation (audio too) from the SNAG Professional Development Seminar recorded at the recent SNAG conference in Seattle.
