Educational Endowment Scholarships Increasing |
|
As a direct result of the tremendous success of the Raffle for our Educational Endowment, SNAG's board has increased the amounts of the Educational Endowment Scholarships.
Beginning in 2011, there will be three tiers of awards: one for $2,000, one for $1,500, and the third at $1,000. James Viste is the new coordinator of the Endowment Scholarships jurying. Undergraduate and graduate students are juried separately, and at least one award goes to an undergraduate each year.
These three scholarships are in addition to the new $3,000 Hoover & Strong scholarship for graduate students creating production jewelry. Help us get the word out to students.
