Exhibition Proposal Deadline is July 15
|

 SNAG seeks partners in co-producing and/or supporting exhibitions that advance our mission to educate audiences about the historical, artistic and cultural importance of jewelry, metalsmithing and design. Exhibition proposals for the summer cycle must be submitted by July 15th for presentation at the Fall Board meeting in October.

"Dichotomies in Objects" at Velvet da Vinci

 The exhibition "Dichotomies in Objects: Contemporary South African Studio Jewelry from the Stellenbosch Area," curated by Lauren Kalman and Carine Terreblanche is now open at Velvet da Vinci for the month of July. SNAG funded the catalogue and administrative support for the exhibition.

Online Presence Committee

 Arthur Hash has joined SNAG's Online Presence Committee, at the invitation of Chair Anthony Tammaro, also working with Anne Brewer, Brigitte Martin and board liaison Jamie Obermeier.
More changes are in the pipeline this year: launching a blog, improving SNAGnet, and new initiatives that will help members promote their work.
