Professional Development Seminar Committees

 Brigitte Martin, the founder of crafthaus, joins our Professional Development Seminar Steering Committee, to work with long-time members Harriete Estel Berman and Andy Cooperman. She replaces Don Friedlich who retired from the Committee this year.
In addition, Maureen Brusa Zappellini, Tara J. Brannigan, Charleen Weidell, Chris Trollen, and Francesca Vitali have joined the Implementation Committee of the Professional Development Committee, taking on a range of responsibilites.

2010 Educational Endowment Scholarship Recipients

 The recipients of this year's Educational  Endowment Scholarships are David Choi, a graduate student at State University of New York, New Paltz, Jee Young Han, a graduate student at University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Elo Uibokand, who completed undergraduate studies at Saimma University of Applied Sciences in Finland and will enroll in the graduate program at Cranbrook Academy of Art this fall.
Three Honorable Mentions were awarded to: Rebekah Frank, an undergraduate student at Texas State University, San Marcos, Loring Taoka, a graduate student at University of North Texas, and Amy Weiks who graduated from Western Michigan University, and will enroll in the graduate program at Cranbrook Academy of Art this fall.
The 2010 jurors were Kristin Beeler, Tom Madden and John Rais.
