It's August already! We can't believe that the kids' summer holidays from school are half-way over! There's lots going on at The Hive this month to keep you bizzy. It was great receiving everyone's submissions for our July monthly challenge. The store was decorated in red and white! The winner for the monthly challenge draw is:

This Saturday, August 6th:
Our new Stamp Of The Month for August has been posted! Join us on the 6th for our FREE Stamp Of The Month Demo with Daniza! The event runs from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
This month's stamp is "Floral Squares" by Magenta. It's a wonderful wood-mounted rubber stamp which can be used to create beautiful papercrafts! We also have a special treat in addition to Daniza's samples - we have some samples from Helene from Magenta!

Saturday, August 13th:
Today is our Magenta Day. Special guest Helene, owner of Magenta, will be joining us to teach two classes. We will also be holding a Magenta trunk show and sale.
Sign up now, as spaces are limited! These classes are coming up quickly and you don't want to miss out on getting a spot!
Helene's classes have been posted on our website. There is a morning class from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and an afternoon class from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. In each class, you will be making 4 cards. The morning class features bird and nature cards, and the afternoon class features Christmas cards.
You will create lovely cards while learning techniques and gathering information about Magenta products and various ways to use them.
The card samples are in store for your viewing pleasure.
