The Company is an established, full service producer of a wide variety of custom architectural millwork, moldings,veneered casework, finishes and laminates for numerous customers located throughout the U.S. Headquartered in the Midwest, the Company is a leading source of superior custom millwork for the nation's premier contractors and architects whose projects command pristine quality, professional service, ease of installation and prompt delivery for commercial applications. The Company's products are utilized by a variety of end-use customers across a wide spectrum of industries, including the education, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, professional services and retail sectors.Led by a seasoned management team with decades of industry experience, the Company provides its customers with a full range of engineering, design, manufacturing and installation services. For over 30 years, the Company has worked in partnership with the construction industry to ensure that architectural concepts are produced exactly to the original design intent. The Company also has the capabilities to assist customers with their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ("LEED") projects by offering product options and materials that aid in gaining credit points while controlling costs. In order to achieve optimal quality, productivity and consistency, all architectural millwork, cabinetry and solid surface products are manufactured and finished at the Company's fully integrated, state of the art production facility. Furthermore, all of the Company's materials and wood veneers are hand selected for each application.In recent years, the Company has invested over $1.4 million in new machinery and adopted new technologies that have decreased production costs and improved worker productivity and product quality. As a result, the Company has significant additional manufacturing capacity available at its production facility. In addition, the Company maintains a team of Field Operation Managers who oversee every active job site on a regular basis to ensure that each installation meets the Company's exacting standards. As a result of its full service capabilities, the Company has built longstanding customer relationships and developed a reputation for superior quality and customer service.
The Company has successfully grown revenue and profitability over the past several years by becoming a key valueadded partner for its customers and is a leading architectural millwork supplier to 9 out of the top 10 general contractors in its targeted market. After achieving peak revenue of over $19 million in 2008, management has resized the business to address the current state of the construction industry while maintaining its historical margin profile. In addition, management has developed a detailed growth strategy that leverages the Company's core competencies and key competitive advantages. The Company's industry-leading millwork capabilities and deep customer relationships have also positioned the business to grow at rates well in excess of the overall construction market.
