SUPER SWIMMER NEWS
NOVEMBER 2011
Greetings!
jelly's on the mat
The weather is getting colder, but the pool at Sea Ventures is still heated to a balmy 88 degrees.  We believe in summer time warmth even in the coldest months.  So don't let the weather deter you from having fun in the pool!

Ankita is Our Student of the Month
student of the month
Ankita is enrolled in our School Year Program with Mr. Daniel as her instructor.  She is overcoming a strong fear of the water and is getting more courageous with each lesson.  Mr. Daniel says he is impressed with how much she is improving because she is working hard to be brave. She is pictured on the right wearing her big swimming smile!

Registration for Session 1 of 2012

We are beginning registration for our 1st session of the new year on November 15th.  It is a great time of year to swim because it gives your child an opportunity to improve their swimming skills before summer fun begins. We have found over the many years of teaching that children need ample time to become proficient in swimming.  Another advantage to take swim lessons in January is it helps your child retain the skills they learned in the summer. Many children, especially the younger ones, will lose their skills if they have too big or a break from swimming   Register early to assure that you get the time slot you desire.
HOLIDAY EVENTS

We are having a toy drive for Toys for Tots.  On Friday December the 9th from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. we are offering open swim to anyone who will bring a new toy and donate it to the Toys for Tots program with the U.S. Marines.  Each person who wishes to swim must bring a toy.  What a great way to help those in need and unwind from all the holiday hustle and bustle with a dip in the pool.

Holiday H2O Camp dates are on the schedule!
December 23rd, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th are the days marked for Swim Camp.  Register for one day or more if you like.  Each day includes lots of swimming, crafts, snacks and a movie.  This camp is for children 5 years and older and the cost is $50 per day.
What a great way to spend your break from school!  Register now.  Camp lasts from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
