THE "GETTING TO KNOW THE BEST & BRIGHTEST'

CAMPAIGN BY FRIENDSHIP AMBASSADORS FOUNDATION OFFERS LOCAL FAMILIES IN WESTCHESTER AND FAIRFIELD COUNTIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO HOST A FOREIGN UNIVERSITY STUDENT IN A HOMESTAY:

FROM MID-MAY - MID-AUGUST

GREENWICH, CT - "GETTING TO KNOW THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST"

is a campaign led by Greenwich-based Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF; ww.faf.org) to identify local homestays for five of its nine visiting summer university students.

The foundation looks to identify five homestays in Fairfield and Westchester County for the international summer interns who will work in its Greenwich offices.  They will help with preparations for the 9th Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations (YA).  The YA brings together hundreds of youth leaders from across the globe to build skills towards the success of a variety of United Nations development goals in the UNs designated Least Developed Countries.

INTERN PROFILES: Five international university students have been carefully selected to join other local interns who will help FAF with the logistics, programming, and other facilitation for the large, UN youth conference.   All women, the five interns are from FINLAND, MOLDOVA, CHINA, BRAZIL, and KENYA.

Each seek the generosity of local families to host them in their private homes from Mid-May through Mid-August, when they return home.  FAF will provide each of the interns with a weekly stipend, supervision, and leadership during their entire stay.

To arrange for a meeting with the foundation's executive director and see if this exciting opportunity will be possible for a local family, FAF requests that the family contact the foundation directly, at: 1-203-542-0652 or victor@faf.org to arrange for an interview and appointment for consideration.
