About the Youth Assemblies: The Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations (YA) has been a resounding success. Each year it registers the maximum number of youth delegates that the United Nations will permit. The Youth Assembly demonstrates what committed, global youth leaders can and have accomplished in support of the 8 UN Millennium Development Goals. Each year the reviews grow stronger in appreciation for what the YA offers and what it proves we can all do together. BTW: The 9th Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations is planned for August 3, 4, and 5, 2011.
About the MDG Executive Session for Young Professionals: The Executive Sessions will foster an intimate and intensive version of the Youth Assembly, providing a rare opportunity to network among young working professionals, UN representatives, and corporate leaders - within the backdrop of UN Headquarters in New York City.
Program Highlights:
- Opening & Closing Ceremonies Featuring Social Enterprise Leaders and UN Agency Officials
- 2 Days of intensive meetings and workshops Featuring training from corporate CSR and SE leaders, foundation youth fellows, UN staff
- Special Conference Reception and Optional Networking Weekend in New York City
- Attend the MDG Reception on Opening Night and enjoy 'the City' all weekend long
