Concert Tours = Global Community Exchange
Recently, we spoke with an organization considering
a
cultural exchange and concert tour abroad. Our
Artistic Director mentioned that FAF is
formally
affiliated with the United Nations and maintains close
relationships with Consulates nearly
everywhere.
In this issue: info on highlighted
exchanges -
representing a fraction of FAF's 2008 programming; a
laundry list of ensembles for whom we are searching:
those who helped us develop the concept of
meaningful cultural exchange 35 years ago; and a call
to all travel groups to 're-engage' using FAF as your
guide ... ![]()

5th Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations ![]()

Pictured: His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al
Hussein, Jordan. The gathering of Nobel Laureates and others will begin an effort to develop a super fund for education and youth empowerment initiatives throughout the world. Mr. Sciarratta will lead a team of youth at that historic destination. "While in Petra, I will attempt to identify funds for youth who are engaged in global cultural exchange programs, and especially service projects and concert tours where joint concerts and homestays occur, and particularly among regions of the world where cultural strengthening is crucial to world peace," he stated. "In addition, I will help identify difficult to find travel support for global youth leaders involved in gatherings similar to the annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations. "That is what FAF's mission is all about - enabling people to get together across difficult cultural terrain and share meaningful experiences that help promote mutual understanding." ![]()
