You can still choose one, two or three days with Buddy's San Francisco
team this week, Jan 13-15, including a one day option with Brandon Gore teaching his GFRC
techniques on Friday. This week's class.
The amazing deal is the Naples Florida Open Décor Show Class January 23-24, 2010.
$500 for two full days with Buddy Rhodes Artisan and certified trainer Zac Colletti. Registration for the Show is not required; the class is open to anyone.
BR Trainer Bob Matharu will be leading class in Canada at Nu-West Construction Products - Saskatoon Check it out.
Before leaving the subject of Deals, we have three more: (1) Due to its popularity, the two-fer DVD and Concrete Style No 1 book sale has been extended through this month with reduced prices for single copies too; (2) any product in our GFRC line is now discounted in our web store, 10% through March 31st, 2010; and (3) if you send an e-mail request to Susan@buddyrhodes.com, we'll send you a discount ticket for a $10 admission to the Feb. 2-5 World of Concrete at the Las Vegas Convention Center. That is a $55 value. We're sponsoring the Artistry in Decorative Concrete Demo Area this year so come see us there (and join us for a beer at day's end).

Featured Artisan
John Waalkes sent us this link to an online article in TrendsIdeas.com where they published his FIRST kitchen countertop. Jon writes that his project was submitted to Trends in coordination with his architect and designer. This is his own home, remodeled to meet the family's fondness for cooking and entertaining. Jon reports that they chose to go with concrete counters to create a warmer feeling than traditional stone materials, and they chose Buddy Rhodes pressed finish for its unique look. When asked how he learned to cast with Buddy's Mix, Jon replied, "I learned to make concrete counters by the book - literally. I read Buddy's book (supplemented by a couple of YouTube clips), bought the materials and went to work." This is not your ordinary Do-It-Yourselfer, but it sure is a good plug for the book!
