Our newest Buddy Rhodes Artisan on board is Nick Relampagos of It's Concrete in Hayward, California. Nick is a wonderful fabricator who works with his son and his assistant Gerry Lopez to create gorgeous projects, despite still not "quitting the day job" in the insurance industry. Nick is also a member of Cheng exchange. We're delighted to have him with us. Check out his website at www.itsconcrete.com.

Bistro Table and 20" Planter Molds
Buddy's Newest Designs now Available

Buddy has designed two new molds so those of you interested in a smaller bistro style table can think about adding this one to your stable. Our newest and smallest sphere planter is 20" in diameter and is rounder and cuter than its older bigger siblings. Molds are reusable many times and pay for themselves after the first few sales. Here's the assdmbled mold sitting on a stool in our shop.
Dennis Dudley, a student in our October class and a concrete artisan on Orcas Island in Washington, purchased one of Buddy's planter molds from Evergreen Building Products in Kirkland. He has a regular business selling sphere planters to a pottery and landscape store frequented by the high-end second-home owners on the island. He was here for his second class with Beto Esquivel, and is now expanding his concrete countertop business. This is a photo of planter Dennis build recently using the Buddy Rhodes 31" sphere mold.
