Tabor Market, Open Every Saturday 10am-2pm, 57th and SE Division Street. The market is now hovering around 20 vendors with room to expand in the parking lot and back patio. We've received overwhelmingly positive feedback from those who have attended so far. People love the neighborhood location, mix of vendors, and wonderful setting of Cafe au Play.

Attending the market is a great way to support Cafe au Play , and we need help spreading the word. So grab a friend, holler at your neighbors, and head down to the market Saturday!

is a community where investments build on existing assets to address economic, environmental and social sustainability goals. Community members practice active stewardship of natural resources while creating healthy opportunities for all who live, work and play here.

The Foster Green EcoDistrict Steering Committee is a group of 20+ individual and organizational members that live or work in Foster Green and are committed to leading the EcoDistrict into the future.  From November 2010 - August 2011, the Portland Sustainability Institute utilized funding from the Bullitt Foundation to engage community members in identifying a vision for an EcoDistrict. Well over 200 individuals and organizations contributed to input that the steering committee used to develop this vision. Learn more or, even better, get involved!

People experiencing poverty and people of color are first in line for the negative impacts of climate change, and we all stand to benefit from healthier, more sustainable communities and a clean energy future. An inclusive climate change movement that integrates social justice, health, and environmental considerations holds the promise of transformation.
