Our Neighborhoods
Greetings!
NVW1The SE Uplift staff offers a heartfelt THANKS to the hundreds of coalition volunteers who share their time, energy, ideas and vision with the community! It is because of neighborhood volunteers that our community is UPLIFTED!

The time you share with the community matters! While it is sometimes difficult to measure the day-to-day successes, volunteer efforts contribute to long-lasting, positive changes in our neighborhoods. It is because of YOU, neighborhood volunteers, that Southeast Portland is such an vibrant and dynamic place to live. THANK YOU for making it so!

Important Message from Anne...
Hello Everyone,

Now is the time to email the City Council to support the funding for neighborhoods and coalition services and staff that comes through the city Office of Neighborhood Involvement. Please send this along to individual neighborhood association folks, board members and neighbors -- anyone you can think of who will help.

The finance folks at the city have recommended that we take the highest level of cuts - nearly half of the Small Grants program funding; in contrast, Commissioner Amanda Fritz is recommending the 'Right Budget for ONI', which (while taking an overall 4% cut) restores the grants program and protects coalition core services and direct support to neighborhoods.

We need as many emails as possible! Short and to the point...

Click HERE for guidelines for writing your email.
Thank You for your support!!
