Why Use TAC On-Line - Trusted Sales Person

A company had a trusted sales person. He would be in the field and call into the office to get balances, status updates and have office staff enter work orders, invoices and update reminder notes.

Problems were that:

  • He tied up office staff all day supporting changes and updates
  • Information was lost in translation
  • Frequent call backs were needed to keep sales person updated
back upCompany moved to TAC OnLine and gave the Trusted Sales Person access to TAC with an IPad. They set security to no deletions or administrative access, so the sales person could look up status and financials and do their own data entry.

Tips for Better Business: Using Reminders

No matter how you run your business, documentation and reminders can make your day easier. As we all know, problems take your attention off of your task at hand. One way to make sure that you remember  your plan to send a proposal to a customer,  or follow-up on a problem,  is to place a note under that certain customer.   These notes become a permanent part of the customers' records, and when you open TAC Online™,  it is the first thing that you see.

These daily reminder popups can be managed, and you can set when you are notified and for how many days in the User Settings under the Admin
top menu.  For more information,  read our help document on Using Popup  Notes.

Blood Lines
On a train from London to Manchester, an American was telling off the Englishman sitting across from him in the compartment.

"You English are too stuffy. You set yourselves apart too much. Look at me... in me, I have Italian blood, French blood, a little Indian blood, and some Swedish blood. What do you say to that?"

The Englishman said, "Very sporting of your mother."
