"I'VE COMMITTED ADULTERY IN MY HEART"
 Deciding to be interviewed by Playboy magazine may not have been the wisest decision that President Carter ever made. The interview was actually going along pretty well until the President began talking about the Bible and adultery. What President Carter admitted was not particularly earth shaking. In the course of his interview he said, "I've looked on a lot of women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times."
Most men would probably say, "Been there, done that." But presidents rarely (and for good reason) stray into the land of "too much information": We want to hold them to a higher standard than the rest of us. It was an uncomfortable moment for America.
When it comes to the Ten Commandments most of us feel like we're doing pretty good if we've been able to hold to the letter of the law. When our Lord presented his commentary on these commands in His Sermon on the Mount, he told us that God not only looks at what we do, but also at what we think.

 KENYA TEAM COMMISSIONING

 GREETER & USHER TRAINING
What's the first thing you expect when you visit someone's home? A warm greeting, a handshake, even a hug? At ERBC we want everyone to feel welcome when they visit.  WOMEN'S CRAFT NIGHT
Ladies, join us for a night of crafting, fellowship and food, on our Craft Nights. This is a great time to get to know other ERBC women.  SUMMER SPECTACULAR
SUMMER DAYCAMP - JULY 23-27
Summer Spectacular is a fun-packed week of games, Bible stories, crafts, music, group activities, and lots more. We're turning ERBC into an indoor adventure called Sonrise National Park!  CARWASH-A-THON
We've got lots of activities planned for our youth this summer (including camp at Hume Lake). You can help support our students by sponsoring our Carwash-a-thon. Offer to support a teen with a pledge per car washed. Then bring your car for a free wash on Saturday, July 28. Find the suds in the church parking lot from 10AM-1:30PM.
