HOW BIG IS YOUR GOD?
In 1952, J.B. Phillips wrote a book called, "Your God Is Too Small." His theory was that many Christians had misconceptions about God that really didn't amount to much more than super-sized human characteristics. God was a Santa Claus, an angry judge, a kindly grandfather. His book challenged the reader to consider the question of how big was the God we visualized as we worshiped. This week as we continue our exploration of the Ten Commandments we're going to look at the second one on the list and see how it warns us against the very real temptation to try and put God in a box. I hope you can join us Saturday evening at 5:30 or Sunday morning at 9 or 11AM. Embracing the journey, Pastor Rick
